Arts Partnership for OKCPS Scholarship Award

The Arts Partnership for Oklahoma City Public Schools was recently recognized by the MacDowell Club of Allied Arts and awarded a $5,000 scholarship for its work in promoting arts education in the greater Oklahoma City area. The more than century-old organization was established to continue the legacy and memory of American composer Edward MacDowell and to develop the MacDowell Colony at Peterborough, New Hampshire. The mission of The MacDowell Colony is to nurture the arts by offering creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which they can produce enduring works of the imagination.
